Fancy Fun Folds!

I made this card a few weeks ago to practice the tri-fold card. I am using this technique for our Xmas Cards. It is an easy and fun fold! Take a 12x12 piece of paper and cute it to 12" x 5 1/2". Score at 4 and 8. The inner piece of paper is cute at 3 3/4" and 5 1/4". 

This cards fits right in over at the Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge this week.As I am posting the picture I realized my DSP matches the banner for this challenge, he he. Be sure to play along!

Are you ready for Black Friday?

I am so Thankful  for all of my friends, family, my job, and husband! I love this time of year. Tomorrow everyone will hustle and bustle at the malls and shops looking for the best deal. This time of year reminds me that Christmas is just around the corner. To get into the spirit I wanted to play along with The Paper Players and show off some bling! Enjoy and have a wonderful day!

Thanks is for Giving

Since the leaves in California don't really change colors and we are still in summer time heat, I decided to create my own. Let me tell you these leaves look so real. I learned this awesome technique from my up line, Krista Jensen. I love all of the cool things she has taught me over the last few months. 

To help get my inspiration I turned to the Fab Friday awesome sketch challenge for this week. It is clean and simple sketch.
